As the expands on the constitution such as the bill of right now protected under the constitution this was one of two amendments which has been voted on the other was the freedom of speech bill which in the end was vetoed by parliament with the reasons being the bill in its current form would not of benefited the people.

The Green Party hoped to try with an updated bill but due to the veto the bill can’t be put to parliament for two months this allows for other bill to be voted on by parliament instead of placing focus on one bill .

Heat warning

Restrictions

With no cases in robe the Emergency Council has decided to begin lifting the restrictions from the first of June most restrictions will be lifted the council will disband on the last day of June

  6. The Euro is the Offical currency of the nation and must be considered legal tender in the Nation.
  7. Robe will follow all laws in the Republic of Ireland and the authority of Garda Síochána.

This section will outline the procedure of a State of Emergency

  1. The Emergency Powers Act must be passed in the parliament.
  2. Power over the borders and Government will be given to the Council.
  3. The council must present an exit plan to the parliament after two weeks.

The New Constitution

With what has been happening recently being unexpected this new Government now wants to update the constitution. This was announced this morning when the new Prime minister made a statement “We are proud to announce a draft of the new constitution has been presented to the parliament, I hope to have a new constitution by the end of this week” we contacted the press office and were given this information “What the prime minister is doing is lawful; all the proper procedure is being used.The Prime minister hopes to be more cooperative with the press from now on.”

The new government

With the elections now over and the dust settled it was announced last night That the Green Party was the victorious and David Walsh is now prime minister.

What this means for Robe

All project and proposals will have to be voted on by the parliament in which the Green Party now heads With the Prime minister having the power to veto a vote with the constitution now needing improvement this could affect what changes can be made.

This may bring Robe into a new era of history, With the Green Party will most likely be pushing for climate change this will affect how bill are passed such as the nation may look at cutting carbon emissions and the role of the former King will need to be looked at possibly regaining his throne.

Breaking News :Snap Elections

At 3:00 today the government has called snap elections to reshuffle the parliament the question is why now one person had this to say “everything was finally running smoothly but who really runs this nation”. 

Nobody seems to have seen this coming we tried to get a statement from the government but no answer “The government has voted to hold an election to reshuffle the parliament the voting will take place today and result out by tomorrow morning” this is the statement from the official account again we couldn’t get an answer from the government.

This now means the people of robe now get to vote for a new government. The parties to choose from are 

  1. First Coalition party (John Keane)
  2. Republican party (Martin Murphy)
  3. Green Party (David Walsh)

We won’t know who the next prime minister until tomorrow.  

What is the Emergency Powers Act 2020

The Act was passed in February with this came certain conditions the former king would lead with minister of health along with a representative from each party this is what is now know as the Emergency Council.

Three months later the people are now questioning the need for the with one stating “why can’t the government deal with the restrictions why a special Council” we have tried to get a statement from the government, All we got was “please contact the Emergency council for all emergency council for an official answer” so with this information we set out to get an answer from the council this of course led to a maze of red tape but eventually we got an answer “The council was needed to be effective in dealing with the situation”

The virus and Robe

But the government has granted power to the Council for an extension until December 2020 this has caused a stir in some of the political parties as they have stated the councils powers need to be limited to protect the nation
